At Charity Bribes, our goal is to create a positive experience for both our users and the celebrities who participate in our platform. We understand that circumstances may arise in which you may request a refund for your pledged donation. This Refund Policy outlines the circumstances under which we will process a refund.
2. Successful Bribes
If a celebrity accepts a bribe and completes the task within the allotted time, the pledged funds will be donated to the designated charity, and no refunds will be issued.
If the public figure or celebrity decides to match the total amount raised and not perform the bribe challenge, Charity Bribes has the right to release the bribe pledges to the indicated charity. In the case of a release, no refunds will be issued.
3. Unsuccessful Bribes
In the event that a celebrity does not accept a bribe or fails to complete the task within the allotted time, we will issue a full refund to all users who pledged money to that bribe. Refunds will be processed within 30 days of the expiration of the allotted time.
4. Cancellation of Pledges
If you wish to cancel your pledge before the allotted time has expired and the celebrity has not yet accepted the bribe, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org with your request. We will process the cancellation and issue a full refund within 30 days.
5. All-encompassing of Bribes
Refunds for bribe pledges that are not fulfilled will be issued to the pledgers, minus a 5% fee for operating costs and platform development. This fee also applies to refunds for unsuccessful bribes. By pledging to a bribe, you acknowledge and agree to this fee.
5. Refund Method
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used when pledging your donation. Please note that it may take several days for the refund to appear on your bank or credit card statement, depending on your financial institution.
6. Changes to the Refund Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on our website or mobile application and updating the "Last updated" date at the top. You are advised to review this policy periodically for any changes.
